Nearly March My Horses Update

Well its nearly here, March 6th is my first horse trial, but with Brendon hill Sharp Talk with an abcess, Jays Silver Spirit with an unknown lameness, Jays Gransun with a sore back, and Bailey off for 6 weeks as his owner is unwell, its going to be a shaky start.

The good news is that The Duke of Bartle went to Royal Leisure BSJA the other day and came second in the discovery class (HC), he was awesome and loved it, clearly he will be show jumping as well as eventing this year! Jays Golden Hera went xc schooling and was very good after a spooky start and some serious broncoing, she jumped really well showing much better form than last year, proving that grid work really does make a difference.

Sir Sportsfield Alfred, has been xc schoolng as well with Jaquie Fabb who is my client who takes him eventing. He was brilliant but jarred himself up and has needed so massage and Physio. I use EQUIMAS massage based in Hindhead. Rhiannon who runs Equimas does a very good job and I highly recommend her services.

We had some successes at local dressage the other day and one of my clients Karen Childs rode Sir Sportsfield in a BD competition a few weeks ago, it was her first affiliated competition and went well.

Jo is taking Alfred to a local unaffiliated next sunday, and I will play with hi in the Elementary, its mothers day but my mother is going to go to a dog show so my presence is not required!
